The usual type of showers I see is showerheads over a bathtub. This is the usual, less expensive option and I can’t say that I am a fan. For one having to climb in and out of one is rather annoying, but it’s more than that. As someone who works in healthcare, I know how dangerous these types of things can be. An elderly or disabled person lifts their leg and tries to climb inside… then bam! Broken hip. A broken hip is usually a game-changer for these people.
Shower doors in Union County NJ solves that problem. At least for those who are in this area. They have the option of having glass shower doors which not only look better to the visible eye, but also safer for people who have trouble getting in and out of the shower. I really do think it’s something people take for granted.
A reason that I happy that Shower doors in Union County NJ exist is because they are a perfect way to put in a shower chair or some kind of aide for someone who may need help when it comes to taking a shower. Yes, glass doors do exist on showers with tubs, but from the examples I have seen they are more walk in types of showers. With these type of showers, it is easier to prevent unwanted falls.
I know I have been very focused on elderly people and falls, but this is an important thing to me. I see these type of shower doors available and it makes me happy that these are an option to people who may need it. I’d definitely check it out for my own grandmother if I had the funds because she has been at risk of falling many times in the shower.
